Paul Wingfield - Lead Pastor

It is so amazing to see God working in spectacular ways. Over this past year we have seen so many people make decisions for the Lord, and we are blessed to be a part of it. Our prayer is that God continues to use South Telegraph to reach the community and expand His kingdom. We are so excited that you have checked out our web site, and I want to personally invite you to attend one of ouor Weekend services. Take a moment to cruise around the site and if you have any questions or need more information, you can click the contact tab in the top right corner.

When are your services?

We offer one service on Saturday evening at 5:00 pm and two services on Sunday morning, one at 9:00 am and the other at 10:45.  The only difference between the three is the starting time.  In addition, we offer childrens programming during all services.  Jr. High programming is offered during the 9:00 service and Sr. High programming is offered during the 10:45, and the Saturday service has a combined Jr. & Sr. High program.  We encourage all of our Jr. & Sr. High students to attend their age appropriate programming and to also attend one of the main worship services.

What happens during the service?

The service begins with music and a welcome.  The style of music is contemporary, high energy and focused on offering praise and worship to our Lord.  After we worship God through song, we transition to communion and offering.  We observe communion every week as a remembrance of Christ and his sacrifice.  We offer open communion to anyone that has invited Jesus to be their personal Lord and Savior and been baptized according to scripture.  Offering is also taken up once a week, but visitors are not expected to contribute.  After offering we study God’s word together through preaching. The Bible is powerful and relevant, and we believe it offers direction in our daily living.  We do our best to simply explain what the Bible already says.  After the sermon we offer a decision time in which you can go forward and receive prayer, ask questions, or simply talk to a decision counselor.  We see this as a very important part of the service that gives everyone a chance to respond to God's Word in some way.  If you are uncomfortable going forward during the Invitation, simply wait until the service is over and you will find our Pastors and decision counselors near the front of the stage.

Where do I go?

Feel free to park in either the top or bottom sections of the parking lot in the visitor parking spots.  When entering the building, there will be volunteers who will guide you to the right area for all ages.  The main foyer can be easily accessed from the bottom parking and feeds right into the worship area.  Feel free to check out our cafe.

What do people wear?

We want people to dress comfortably and appropriately.  You will find a wide variety of styles, but generally people dress casual.

What is Starting Point?
